Please use the user-manual to get an overview over the many functions that the program possesses. (Click Help -> User manual in the main window.)
Here is som useful hints about functions of the program:
Through the "Resources"-menu in the main window of the program, you can access several external resources that contains free pictures, buttons and more.
On the "New"-menu in the "recipe"-part of the program, you have an option called "DIV-element".
By clicking this option, and then move the mouse cursor over the new element and choose "Abolute position". Then click "Select dimensions", and you may now move the window that appears over the preview-window to the exact position where you want to place som content. Any elements placed between the two gray elements with arrows, will no be placed on the position that you selected. To the right it is illustrated an image (volleyball01.gif) that has been placed 273 pixels from the left edge of the page and 84 pixels from the top edge.
Please note! When using "Absolute positioning" on the "DIV-element", you must be awared that the different users have different screen sizes and differnt resolutions. That means that even if the page looks perfect on your computer, another computer may have to scroll to view the hole page. A common solution is to have the page maximum 800 pixels wide.
Sometimes you want the contents that you make to be the same on several pages (e.g. when making a menu). It will be cumbersome to use the copy element and paste function on all your pages. Instead you can select the elements and click right mouse button and click "Group elements". Now you can just insert all the elements by simply clicing "New" -> Elementgroup in the recipe-window on all pages you want them inserted.
If you have a scanner or camera with twain compatible software, then you can import the images directly to your pages. Put a new image-element on you page (click
), and move the mouse cursor over it and click
. Afterwards you can resize the image by clicking "Edit image".
